The 1900 celebration - Office de tourisme de Liverdun

The FETE 1900 takes place every second Sunday of September in the « Domaine des Eaux Bleues », an attractive Art Nouveau private property. Several Art exhibitions with their workshops demonstrating “Belle Epoque” (Edwardian Age) crafts and exhibitions of former days’ fashion are presented this day. FETE 1900 is a real glimpse to emphasise how much objects have changed over the years which make up a valuable record of our elders’ heritage. The festive and convivial atmosphere is created by musicians and bands playing selected music while dancers show their feat such as French Cancan on the stage. The Belle Epoque period is revived by the 1900 costumed persons, the former wedding parade and the show of the old cars. Refreshments are available in the park and, if desired, a professional photographer can take a picture of this unforgettable day.
